Product Description

The ball of a ball valve is floating, and under the action of medium pressure, the ball can generate a certain displacement and tightly press on the sealing surface of the outlet end, ensuring the sealing of the outlet end.

The floating ball valve has a simple structure and good sealing performance, but the ball bears the load of the working medium and all the load is transmitted to the outlet sealing ring. Therefore, it is necessary to consider whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the ball medium. When subjected to high pressure impact, the ball may shift.

Structural characteristics

Floating soft sealed stainless steel ball valves are used on various pipelines from PN16 to PN64 to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline. They are made of different materials and can be used for various media such as water, steam, oil, liquefied gas, natural gas, gas, acetic acid, oxidizing media, urea, etc.

a. Among various valves, ball valves have the smallest flow resistance. When a full diameter ball valve is opened, the ball channel, valve body channel, and connecting pipe diameter are equal and form a diameter, and the medium can flow almost without resistance.


b. The ball valve can be fully closed and fully opened by rotating 90 °, and can be opened and closed quickly. Compared with gate and globe valves of the same specifications, ball valves have small volume, light weight, and are easy to install in pipelines.
